Golden Rice is apt for a casual dining experience for North Indian/Mughlai cuisine in Marathalli, Bangalore. We relished the delicacies at Golden Rice restaurant today as a part of the preview of the upcoming Roti and Kebab festival from 6th July 2018 to 15th July 2018. A variety of unique favours and dishes have been curated for the special menu for the Roti and Kebab Festival.
Shakal Laka Litchi became an instant hit at the table. The distinct, mildly sweet taste makes it stand out from the rest of the dishes. Brocolli Cheese bites blend well with cherry tomato slices. Mediterranean Paneer is soft and luscious. The starters are served with an array of dips namely Schezwan, Mint, Mayo, Mango and Thousand Island.
Among the non-vegetarian preparations, Chandni Chowk Tangdi Chicken is worth a mention. It is well-marinated, tender and flavourful. Tangri Chicken is cooked perfectly in the tandoor and tossed in a dry paste to enhance the aftertaste. Other non-vegetarian delicacies worth savouring are Basha Fish Fillets and Galouti Kebabs.
Popular vegetarian dishes such as Dal Makhni and Paneer Shahi Makhni were chosen from the regular menu. The preparation is spot-on. For non-vegetarians, Dry Mutton is a must try and so is the Biryani. The Biryani is sealed with dough which is set on fire to enrich the rich flavours while it is served when it is piping hot. To add to the experience so far, there could not have been a better dessert than Fried Ice-cream with caramel sauce and crushed peanuts.
